Honest moment alert: This was filmed a few months ago when I was in a season of deep trust in the Lord with my kids. As I watched this last night, the Holy Spirit sweetly convicted my anxious heart. I have not been trusting the Lord fully with my kids lately and it has not looked pretty. It is so easy to trust when my eyes see the smooth path. Just like Peter, when I focus on the waves instead of Jesus, fear sets in (Matthew 14:30).
As you watch this today, I pray you are reminded of just how trustworthy the Lord is. Whether the path is smooth or bumpy, He is leading. He is trustworthy! Let’s take our eyes off of the natural and begin again to see ourselves and our loved ones through eyes of faith.
